Instructional Classes at the SRWC are specialized fitness classes taught by
professionals in the industry who may have more trainings and certifications
than other instructors. These classes are reduced to a limited number of
participants to create an environment that facilitates a learning outcome.
Instructional classes range from boxing to popular fitness regimes like the
Pilates Reformer, and are offered to SRWC members only at a nominal fee.
Session One: Feb. 10 – March 6
Registration begins Jan. 21 at 8 a.m.
Session Two: March 24 – May 1

This class is designed to give your entire body an awesome workout. Tone and
strengthen your body with a variety of dumbbell, barbell, resistance band and
core exercises, along with a cardio workout set to music.

Pilates Reformer
Elevate your fitness journey when you dive deeper into movements that improve
flexibility and strength! Pilates Reformer is one of the main pieces of
Pilates equipment that offers spring resistance to strengthen the body, all
the while refining posture and balance. Incorporating both mat and reformer
exercises, this class will amplify the extreme benefits of Pilates.

Boxing 101 (Beginner Boxing Class)
Embark on a journey to master the fundamentals of boxing with Boxing 101! With
expert trainers to guide you through each step, you’ll not only learn the
basic punches, correct footwork and essential patterns of movement, but you’ll
see significant changes in your overall health and fitness. To participate,
hand wraps are required and are available for purchase at the Pro Shop for
$10.

This class is designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of
boxing and are looking to take their skills to the next level.
In this intermediate boxing class, you will build on the foundational skills
you’ve learned in beginner classes, such as basic punches (jab, cross, hook,
uppercut) and defensive maneuvers (slip, duck, parry).
TU/TH: 7:15 – 8:15 PM
