Written by Jordan Johnson Communications Student Assistant

Experience the thrill as ASI’s biggest event of the year takes center stage – ASI’s Big Event featuring the sensational Swae Lee at the iconic Walter Pyramid on April 20, 2024!

Prepare to be captivated by an electrifying night of live music and pure excitement, headlined by the chart-topping recording artist, Swae Lee. With his intoxicating melodies and undeniably versatile sound, Swae Lee promises to deliver a show that will leave you spellbound. Get ready to groove to unforgettable hits like No Flex Zone and Spoil My Night.

But what makes Swae Lee stand out among the rest? As we eagerly anticipate this extraordinary event, we reached out to Beach Pride Events (BPE) lead event assistant, Angeles Vazquez, to shed light on Swae Lee’s unique appeal. According to Vazquez, it’s his exceptional talent for songwriting. “Some of the songs he’s written will remain lifetime top hits, for example, Formation by Beyoncé. He has a remarkable ability to tap into different genres, making him a truly diverse artist.”

This isn’t just any event – it’s a gathering that students across Long Beach State University (LBSU) eagerly anticipate all year. The doors swing open at 6 p.m., so rally your friends and prepare for an evening filled with non-stop entertainment. In addition to Swae Lee’s sensational performance, indulge in a variety of food and drink options, along with other exciting activities throughout the night.
