Student Government is the heart of Associated Students, Inc. (ASI). Since 1956, Student Government leaders have advocated on behalf of the student body and improved the quality of life on campus. Executive

The following comprise the Executive branch: President, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Finance, Academic Affairs Officer, Chief Diversity Officer and Chief Government Relations Officer.

Legislative

The Legislative Branch of Student Government is comprised of the Senate, Business and Finance Committee, Lobby Corps and the University Student Union & Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Board of Trustees (URECBOT).

Judicial

The Judiciary branch is made up of one Chief Justice, and six Associate Justices. The Judiciary branch is overseen by the Chief Justice.

Systemwide Advocacy

Advocating for students’ interests and rights is a key function of Student Government. Many student leaders represent student voices on University Boards and Committees.
