Join the Department of Africana Studies and Beach Pride Events (BPE) for the annual Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration. This year’s theme is “Practicing the Seven Principles in Dimly-Lit Times: Lifting Up the Light, Hurrying the Dawn.” This year’s virtual event will feature music, dance, and a special presentation from Dr. Mualana Karenga, chair of the Department of Africana Studies and the creator of Kwanzaa.
