Enrollment

The Assistant Director will notify parents or legal guardians when space is available. The registration packet will be sent through DocuSign for parents to complete. After that an appointment will be arranged for a mandatory parent orientation and a complete registration packet, the child will be admitted to the program.
Your signed registration forms and “Schedule Requests” form are binding contracts. These are considered official documentation, and it is important that each form be complete and accurate. Incomplete forms will be returned and may cause delays. All Center forms are used for accountability or funding purposes to be reviewed and audited by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing, the California Department of Education, ASI, LBSU and our independent auditors.

Calendar

  • NOT open year round
  • Infant and Toddler Program is closed July and the beginning of August
  • School Age Program closes after Long Beach Unified School District’s last day of school (middle of June) and will re-open late August

Parents are required to submit a new “Identification & Emergency Information” form each school year. Parents are responsible for updating this form when changes occur as well. This information is critical in case of an illness or emergency where a staff member must contact and locate the child’s parent or authorized adult.

Immunization documentation must be on file prior to the child’s first day at our facility.

A statement from your child’s physician regarding your child’s health (“Physician’s Report – Childcare Centers”) is required. Your child may attend school in the process of obtaining the physician’s statement once the immunization documentation is already on file. But the physician’s statement must be returned no later than two weeks after the first day.
