FAQ's

When can I sign up for Outdoor Adventure Trips?

Trip registration begins during the first and second week of every semester. Registration for any specific trip ends on the Monday preceding the scheduled event. Check out SRWC Go for up-to-date information.

How do I register for a Trip?

You can register online via the SRWC Go app or by visiting the SRWC Rock Wall any day during hours of operation.

I’ve just joined the waitlist for a trip. How will I know if a spot becomes available?

If a spot opens up for your trip, ROA will contact you via your student email address. Typically if you do not receive an email from us (1-week) before the trip date, we likely do not have any additional spots.

How do I cancel?

Please email us at RockandOutdoorAdventure@csulb.edu to let us know as soon as possible. We currently do not issue refunds.

I’m on a trip, can I cancel and get a refund?

Currently, we do not offer refunds for our Adventure Trips. This is due to an overabundance of last minute cancellations in the past, resulting in the cancellation of entire Adventure Trips. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding this new policy.

What’s included in the cost of my trip?

ROA provides food, transportation, any technical equipment needed for the trip, and experienced, friendly guides!

What do I need to bring for the trip?

Each trip has a trip-specific packing list. This can be found in the “Info Packet” that’s emailed to you the week of the trip. Any technical equipment/activity-specific equipment will be provided by ROA at no additional cost.

What if I can’t come on the day of / week of the trip?
Please email us concerning your attendance regardless of how many days you have until the trip goes out. This way our trip leaders can plan accordingly. Also, this allows us to try and fill your spot with a new participant on the waitlist.
